Come on people stop berating haye for this, he's had a legit shoulder operation, give it time, the fight will probably still happen but unfortunately its delayed again

It's unfortunate because I believe he would have destroyed Fury.

I noticed fighters who do a lot of weight lifting get frequently injured : Haye, Pascal, Berto, Mosley. Moral of the story, put down the weights or don't go crazy with it.

It is, Haye would of had Fury before the 12th, he was definitely the best heavy not named Klitschko.

As for the weights, it is a real problem, it can seriously damage muscle for any of us who do it without a hell of a lot of boxing train. Professional boxers are constantly in the gym, going through the paces with heavy bags, workin on the pads and of course the sparring.

All boxers need to do weights but it should never go beyond the basics but guys like Haye, to have that physique must have been on it for too long.

been saying this for years. body builders & muscular guys are injury prone. they are always pulling, straining or tearing something. not just in boxing but all sports...

When I see an open gash on someone's face or him lying in a hospital bed, I'm not ****** enough to ask for a doctor's note.

When someone backs out of a fight citing a back injury, I'd like to get confirmation from the opposition camp that a note has been produced.

                    I'll leave it at that.

David ''Excuse maker'' Haye is a diva, an actor. I don't care if his injury is legit, it might be though I don't think its as bad as its being portrayed, its the guys history of pulling out of fights etc.

How can anybody support this guy?

Its funny because Tyson Fury even predicted it.

David Haye is a conman who takes his die-hard fans for what they truly are. He is a wannabe. Give it a few months & the smug pr1ck will be on some naff reality TV show going on like hes some Hollywood movie star with no signs of an injured shoulder damaged to the extent it had to warrant retirement.
I think he is a clown but since you are talking about haye's cancelled fights let's talk about wlad 2 with chisora & how come he won't fight him now? he spit in his face, called him out twice & all the klitschko fans say the brothers are being ducked. not to mention he never rescheduled the fight. I'm sure you will come up with an excuse. what about vitali pulling out twice vs Rahman then maskaev? now instead of vacated the title he pays suliamon a visit & gets a extension on his mandatory for a fist injury... injuries happen & it's too bad haye is hurt again. I wanted to see this fight but the guy won't be getting back in the ring in 2014 now so he will be irrelevent soon. wouldn't surprise me to see him in a guy Ritchie film in the future...
