You last two *******s (not the guy above, he snuck in)... learn to READ.
If Max had said "in my opinion..." you'd have a point. He didn't, so you don't.Comment

his opinion is implied by his very job description as a color commentator
You aint exactly a "think outside the box" type are you?Comment

Fuck your o.p. It's crap.
When there's a robbery and we all know it he calls it a robbery so why cry when he saw Ward won every round and said it. Even if the judges had it other wise.
Judges? Those judges aren't ****ing reliable.I've seen too many **** ups to wait for their score. As long as they have the right fighter winning I don't give a **** anymore how wide or close they called it.
And you also said you could have given Ward every round. So WTF are you crrying about then?
He won every round. Max saw it that way and he said it. Go put a pickle up ur ass so u can calm down.Comment

HBO are always all over the house fighter, whoever it is on the night.Comment

People complaining about Ward getting praise, please tell me what exactly should they have been complimenting Rodriguez on? He didn't land a significant punch the entire ****ing fight, meanwhile Ward was making his head snap back from jabs, left hooks, etc. punches that were clear as day. He absolutely dominated him, so again, what was Rodriguez doing that earned him praise?Comment

I said I gave him 3 rounds. I like to think I'm pretty objective... besides which, I'm from America, I fight in the States.
But the point is... that's not my point.
Imagine if the Ward-Froch fight had been a draw, which, had Froch done a little bit more in just ONE of the close rounds, it could have been.
We've have all sat at home going "WTF???" - I was saying that when he won five rounds on a majority of scorecards. And that's well within our rights to do so.
But if Max had gone up to Andre on a draw and went "ANDRE, you just WON this FIGHT on the CARDS"... he'd have been a ****. Because his job is to speak about the fight based on what happened... officially.
If he said last night (or in my hypothetical example) "In MY opinion, and it's ALL about ME, I THOUGHT you WON the ROUNDS", then fair enough. But the **** says it as if it's true.
you on that liquor, mackie.Comment

I was drunk on whiskey tonight, yeah. Sobered up a bit now.
But that example still stands as the fight stood. You gave Froch 2 rounds, I say he sc****d 3. The official verdict (on two cards) was that he won five. If Max had said:
"ANDRE, you just WON at least NINE ROUNDS of this FIGHT, is it TIME for me to BLOW your juicy COCK?" it would have been wrong of him to do so... in his capacity as an objective sports broadcaster.
Unless, of course, he'd have rephrased it, "ANDRE, you just WON a CLOSE fight on the judges CARDS, but it LOOKED - at least to ME - because god KNOWS the fight is ALWAYS about ME - that you won MOST of THEM..." then it would have been different.
The above is really a textbook example of what I've been trying to say all thread. Greeted by fuck trumpets going "yo, what round's did roddrigezzz win?"... NOT. THE. POINT.Comment
