oh, okay,,, if i was a boxing manager i would want to be respected,,,,

and your a ****ing idiot that cant understand the business of it,,,

canelo and cotto both going to be the A-side,,, they are going to take most of the money,,,, serg will be left with a few million

with GGG,, serg would actually be the A-side and would get a few million

either way you cut it, serg makes the same because canelo and cotto taking 5-10 mil,, and ggg would cost 1 maybe 2 mil tops,,,,,,,,

No where do you think serg would make the most money at,,, being the B-side or being the A-side,,,,,

either way he makes about the same amount, and if anything he could over ggg a flat fee, and no ppv money,, with canelo and cotto they taking everything,,
but i dont expect you to realize that,,,,, or understand pay scales,, this isnt food stamps and link cards we are talking about

"Maybe golovkin should go after the winner of wards fight" lol dibella should just say it. Martinez don't want no part of 3G. F it I'm ok with it as long as Sergio is able to secure cotto or a canelo fight. Being honest 3G would put a serious beating on Martinez. We're gonna see nothing but straight a$$ whoopings by 3G unless he fights ward.

..... why doesn't Martinez do it?
I wonder what he'd say if somebody asked him that as soon as he said it.
        Martinez is too small
        Golovkin started camp at 167

we know a canelo fight is not happening so we have to blame cotto for ruining golovking-martinez. he should stay at 154 where he's very mediocre. isn't it strange how they only think about "money fights" when someone dangerous is around. when he was fighting dzinziruk, mackclin, barker, and murray he didn't care about "money fights"

Martinez is in his 3rd weight class.

Golovkin is in his 1st weight class.

We expect a guy who started at 160 at the pros, and was at 165lbs in the amateurs, to go up to 168 eventually. A guy who came from 147 isn't always expected to go up to 168-175.

I mean Dirrell and Ward fought at 165lbs and are SMW's.We expect that from GG, not from Martinez.

Also, according to a lot of fans, not me, but a lot of fans, Gollovkin would beat Froch, Kessler and supposedly Ward is shook. No one in their right mind has aid Martinez beats any of these three.

I'm just going but what i'm reading here on this site.

Martinez has been a middleweight for how many years now?! Matters not what he weighed ten years ago.

Anyways, wasn't team Martinez saying he should best a guy like Macklin? Then they said he should fight a guy like Stevens. Now it's move up and fight Ward

Lol @ people saying a boxing promoter's main focus is money. Don King robbed his fighters blind, which is way everyone supports him and he's the best promoter ever. Dibella's main focus is to duck Golovkin

I've seen the light now man....it's not fair for Martinez to do that.
And you're taking what they said out of context and or putting words in their mouth.
GGG is nothing but a 8 loss amateur loss coward liar.

Come on bro, you're a good guy. You think SRL vs Duran, Hagler-Hearns, etc. were cheap fights? You think these guys were fighting each other leaving better money fights on the table? These happened to be big money fights that were high risk.
Its a different sport today. Not nearly as popular. If Hagler and Hearns were in today's landscape they would probably avoid each other and look for a PPV fight with Canelo or Cotto as well. When's the last time two black american fighters other than Floyd Mayweather even headlined a successful PPV?

Floyd even told you fighters are way more protected then they used to be when he was discussing the differences between him and Broner.

It happened with Mayweather going up to fight DLH and Canelo. Big money fights, relatively big risk considering who was at 147-154.

                      Hopkins-Pavlik, big fight, big risk.
All fights are risky. Especially the big money fights because popular fighters are established veterans who have likely had a track record of success. You have to balance the risk versus the reward. You can take a risk vs. Golovkin, but make $1 mil. Or you can take the risk vs. Cotto and make $4 mil. Easy decision.

[quote]It happens. It sucks when the big money fights are lower risk. But this is not new at all. It's not new era at all, ask in the history section about SRR and his money.[/quote[

I know about SRR. But he had one belt and for the most part defended that belt against the fighters he was supposed to.

And I won't be quick to say that at 38, Cotto and Canelo are lower risk. Martinez isn't a big guy, he's a former WW himself. He is very hittable and Canelo and Cotto can punch and are very accurate.
Its not about who's more risky. I still think GGG is the riskiest of the 3 but it doesn't chance the fact that its about who has the best balance of risk and reward. GGG is risky but brings not nearly as much money as the other two options.
