It wasn't so much the offensive mind that helped JMM's career, it was the fact that he kept winning, and fighting top guys.
His 2 fights at 126 and 130 with Manny lifted his profile as many thought he won both fights. After that he moved up to 135 knocking out the top 2 dogs in that division keeping his profile high, until it culminated with a Mayweather fight and 2 rematches with Pacquiao.

Rigo doesn't have to change anything about his career, all he has to do is keep winning, and asking for the fight with the top guys.

How can Arum make a fight that the other guy doesn't want? Kiko has already gone on record saying he doesn't want Rigo he wants Nonito Donaire.

Rigo is in a no win situation when it comes to landing fights, this is why he has to move up the bigger names are at 126, its baby pounds, so him not moving up to 126 is weird wtf? he is already beating guys who will weigh bigger than him going to 126 will not make a difference.

I think Arum should just let Rigo go, he doesn't really care for his stye so why hold this guy back? maybe Arum is doing this out of spite he doesn't want Golden Boy to have him so he is saying I don't want him, but I will keep him because I dont want GB to have him.
You might think it's baby weight but it's not when Rigo is a guy who could be fighting at 118.

The guys at 126 will be dehydrating way more. Did you see Gonzalez's size next to Mares? Do you think if a 122lber hit Mares with that punch, Mares would've been KOed?

They definitely have done Rigondeaux wrong, which is dumb, because if he keeps beating everybody at the top, he'll gain fans from that reputation. He was stalking Donaire in the 12th round too, so he definitely seems like he could develop into a more fan friendly boxer IMO.

Rigo will never change. Rigo has a philosophy and he's 32 years old. He believes in boxing strictly. And when I say boxing, I mean the sweet science. Hit and don't be hit. He said if the KO comes then he goes for it (obviously). He said he could be like these guys and go out there and brawl it out, anybody can do that. We saw glimpse of it in the early rounds of the Donaire fans. But that's not what he believes in.

Rigo is a master. It's like asking Mayweather to exchange punches with someone else.

He definitely doesn't need to change the masterful boxing, but I do believe the media-hype up to his fight with Donaire caused him to go after making a statement at the end of his fight with Donaire. Money talks and I think Rigo recognizes that he needs to protect his sometimes suspect chin, but if he sees he has somewhat completely outclassed late in a fight, I could see him starting to put a heavier foot on the gas and gun for the KO.

Rigo is not going to be more active against Agbeko. He is more aggressive and will make Rigo go more into a defensive posture

It really is a shame what HBO and TR are doing to Rigo. He's one of the best fighters on the planet and should be treated as such. He at least deserves a promoter who will fight for him. He doesn't exactly have the time to be inactive for that long. I hope he goes to GBP.

I don't think Rigo will change a lot but he probably will be a little more aggressive without compromising his style. He realizes he needs to take it up a notch because that directly equates to his bank account. I'm not sure how long Father Time will be held off, especially with his long amateur career but if he makes the most of things, he should be able to get some top fights done before time catches up to him. He is good for Boxing.

I hate that. My least favorite part of boxing is to see guys weight draining to come in a few weight classes above their natural weight. It really punishes guys like Rigo, Floyd, Mares, etc. that do fight in their natural weight class or try to jump one up. Really, really hate it. It lets slobs like JCCjr. be competitive when they should not be.

I am glad Mikey Garcia is finally leaving the Robert Garcia school of weight draining. That dude is a monster for fighting at 126.
