On episode 1 of 24/7 he said he chose Rios because he was a come forward fighter and would make an exciting fight...lets look at the facts
Rios is 1-1 at 140 and lost to Alvarado who is a b class fighter...Rios is not even top 5 at 140 and has 0 fights at 147...Rios fights 1 style and can not adjust at all...just come forward and swing..this guy has 0 elite wins on his resume..has 0 noteworthy wins and is not good in any way possible..this is a **** fight period...the only reason i mention this is because all the **** posters hyping this are the same one who try to **** on all of Floyd fights even though he actually fights world champions coming off of good wins...This fight shoud be on ESPN if not NBC..Manny has not won a fight officially since 2011 and has not beaten a ww coming off of a win since 2009...Rios has not beaten anyone worth mentioning period...this is a **** fight and proves nothing
The spelling error in your title is making me cringe.Comment

same thing can be said for mayweather fans son! he has no peers, can make easy work of anyone(thats what his fans say), so why do his fans not admit that they are paying for a one-sided fight?Comment

Pacquaio fought Marquez twice at 147 (getting KTFO the second time). He forced Cotto to lose two pounds to fight him (he originally asked Cotto to drop to 142, but Cotto refused). Now, he is fighting an undisciplined guy in Rios who lost his 135-pound championship on the scales and has a 1-1 record above 135; yet, you think Robert Guerrero is a bad fighter.
If ****** was against the law, you would be on death row.Comment

So what if it's a cherry pick. Pac has "lost his last three fights" according to the same people who won't shut up about how bad this fight is. People must think highly of Pacquiao to be so expecting of his competition after 3 straight losses.
It will prove what Pac has left. At this point, that's the only question I care about and Rios is perfect for it.Comment

this. pac just got knocked out unconscious in his last fight, he is coming off the longest layoff in his ENTIRE career, and he isn't getting any younger, and yet people expect him to fight the best available opponent??So what if it's a cherry pick. this fight is obviously a tune up to see where pac is at (whether he can still take a punch and if he's gun shy or not, etc.)...it'll be an exciting fight to watch, but of course this isn't a legacy enhancing fight for pac (unless rios goes on to have an amazing career).Last edited by Bermuda; 11-14-2013, 05:33 PM.Comment

Did RJJ come back from getting KTFO?
Yeah he fought again, but not at the elite level. You just don't comeback from getting KTFOComment
Molinares was swinging for the fences with that overhand right
