It might be worse. Bradley had beaten Alexander and had spent years earning his spot. Bradley was obviously promised a Pacquiao fight in exchange for the move to Top Rank. Arum could have screwed him, but he didn't.

Khan is 2-2 in his last 4, and ducked out of a fight that would actually earn him a potential shot at Mayweather. Which, honestly, I can't imagine him getting unless Mayweather is desperate. There's still some months left for someone else to make a case.

      Truth.

Bradley ducked Khan to take a lesser money, easier fight in Casamayor. Bradley admitted on air that he might lose to Khan and he'd rather take $1.2m that he was guaranteed by HBO to fight a bum than take over $2m to fight a dangerous fight.

The Pacquiao fight presented itself next because Bradley was basically a last resort. Top Rank had run out of available opponents.

Bradley-Khan would have literally been for all the marbles at 140lbs and it would have been a very lucrative payday for Bradley considering he was offered 50%....yes 50% of the UK PPV of which he would not have sold one buy.

Khan-Alexander is nowhere near as lucrative or meaningful to Khan. It's just a random fight that was touted and didn't materialise. The money would have been **** in all honesty especially with Alexander thinking he deserved more cos he was "champion"

Bradley's career decisions paid off. Now we just have to sit back and see if Khan's do.

I don't see Khan ducking Alexander. It's not like they were planning to fight each other for ages like Khan-Bradley. Where is the proof that's Khan verbally said he is willing to fight Mayweather over Alexander anyway?

You're right its the exact same thing, im an Amir Khan fan and I think he should've fought Alexander then tried for the Mayweather fight but he took the easy route just like Bradley did this time. He still might not get the Mayweather fight anyway, who knows?

Bradley had no Pacquiao fight on the table when he ducked Khan, it was a possibility as it was for any top fighter around 140/147. Avoiding a fight because you're afraid of losing is a duck whatever the reasoning, he admitted he was afraid of losing.
