this is reason # 5,453,297,928,193 why boxing is such a pathetic joke of a sport,,,,

you have top 2 guys on the same card, but not going to fight each other, and there are like 5 champs per weight class per sanctioning body,,

that is why boxing will never get the mainstream fan like soccer, baseball, basketball etc

try inviting friends over to watch this and try and explain:
"This is murray,, he is fighting for the world title and MW,,, and then later be like this is GGG, he is the mw champ,, but then your friends are like, i thought it was murray, and your like no,, murray the champ, but ggg is the super champ, and your friends are confused, but then you gotta tell them that actually serg martinez is the real champ, then ggg, then probably murray,, but wait there is also quillen, but he is on another network so he wont fight them,,, and your friends would say this crap is ******, its like pro wrestling but at least pro wrestling gives us the big fights

Hatton sent Murray to Argentina and Germany, signed to have him fight in Texas and Australia and his next fight is in Monaco.

He says he wants Murray to get this world title so he can secure a Visa to fight in the US, yet you come with this nonsense?

Would having a world title be easier to get a visa?
                I seriously don't know

Murray doesn't strike me as the type to hold a belt hostage. (my original post directed at this post you quoted wasn't referring to Murray) dude went into exremely hostile territory to fight Martinez and to Germany to fight Sturm.

Murray "unifying" against Barker would not qualify as him holding the belt hostage.

That's a huge domestic fight, so I could see that being next if he makes it past Sturm.

I think Sturm is going to beat Barker, though... Doesn't Barker have a rematch clause?
