Because Khabib has the IBO belt too as well as the regular belt and if they're upgrading Golovkin because he has 2 "belts" then what're they gonna do with Khabib?

but what's going to happen I think is Danny is going to be forced to fight Khabib or vacate his belt.. I posted an article a couple of weeks ago where the WBA ruled at their convention that Khabib is Dannys mandatory and he has 365 days from the ruling to fight him... That's already the offical ruling, but now with the Golovkin thing- it seems Octoberish of next year Garcia will have to fight Khabib - if he moves up or vacates, then I assume Khabib will be promoted to Superchamp

I mentioned this in one of Golovkin's numerous threads. It makes sense, because Hatton mentioned murray would have a world title fight in Febuary. Obviously can't be Barker/Quillin/Martinez because they're tied up, and Golovkin was ruled out. No other option unless Hatton lied.

As far as the Murray thing goes, this is complete bull**** unless they force Golovkin and Murray to fight similar to khabib-danny (wasn't he already mandatory?) but if they were going to force them to fight, why give him the regular belt and promote Golovkin when they were going to fight anyway?

Don't know, and don't think they plan on fighting. I don't see why there would be a need to build up this fight either. The only fights that'd need building up is Golovkin vs: Martinez, Ward, Froch, Chavez Jr

Khabib is Top Rank but network affiliation/dispute doesn't matter in the situation of a mandatory fight by a sanctioning body. The fight either gets made mutually or goes to purse bid (or Danny vacates)

Just like Lara-Vanes and next year we can potentially have Lomachenko/Salido-Russel

I think Danny will drop it.... too much hassle with Top rank and HBO/Showtime
