yeah junior lightweight and super bantamweight are hot beds for talent. Hey man, let's disregard that JMM was his mandatory for about two years. Two years of Naz not being remotely interested in fighting him.

Let's not forget the short notice offer that they sent towards JMM in hopes that he would decline. Then if I remember correctly, JMM accepted it with some conditions and team Naz again walked away

Those gift decisions to Pacquiao is what made Marquez. It drove him to go further up the weight divisions in order to show Pacquiao never won a fight.

Before Manny, JMM was recognized as one of the 3 main Mexicans beside Morales and Barrera. But after the Pacquiao draw, did he get bigger? No, he went to Indonesia and got beat by Chris John, an unknown. Just look at the fighters on JMM\s resume when is not fighting Pacquiao, they are at best B fighters. The only way he got Floyd and Barrera was because of the link to Pacquiao. You could say the same with Bradley.

So it isn't boasting to claim Marquez's dad is Pacquiao.
