Marquez is a champ in 4 divisions, Oldest lineal Lightweight champ in history a 5 time champ that won a dozen belts, and defeated around 15 champions.
Without Pacquiao, Marquez is still a HOF'er but going up 2 weightclasses to knock out a top P4P when you're close to 40 makes you an ATG.
But I do agree to a certain extent. Without Pacquiao, Marquez wouldn't be fighting at Welterweight. He had spent over a decade fighting at Featherweight. He basically kept moving up to chase Pacquiao all the way to Welterweight. Which made him significantly greater.Comment
