If you look at Floyd's historic opponent selection, its always been the right choice. He has some misses obviously but there were other factors preventing those fights from happening.

I know Schaefer and Espinoza want Khan. The issue is whether Floyd will once again make the right decision or take the bait on this crap fight.

For(1)floyd has problems with bigger guys with a good jab
(2)floyd has problems with southpaws(corley,judah,mitchell,ortiz)
All that considering i would say trout has a good chance but i wouldnt favor him over mayweather...i think the fight will look alot like jones vs tarver 1..imo

Hoping trout pulls it out and I think he will to stop this "Lara hype train". Lara couldn't get pass Molina,vanes and barley survived against a way faded Angulo. Damn beating Freddy Hernandez makes you untouchable nowadays. Lara is way fn overhyped.

No way in hell does Mayweather vs Trout/Lara generate enough money to pay Floyd the guaranteed purse of about $30 million, pay Floyd's opponent, pay the undercard fighters, and for Showtime to break even. It will be Mayweather-Guerrero but worse. The money that will be put into the fight in promotion
won't come back.
