All that considering i would say trout has a good chance but i wouldnt favor him over mayweather...i think the fight will look alot like jones vs tarver 1..imo
pretty much this. I didn't say he would beat floyd moneymayfan just said he would have gave him a tougher fight than canelo based on all the reasons stated above

Lara outworked him actually, he threw more punches. And round by round, there were 6 rounds that they landed a similar amount of punches (like 2-3 landed punches difference), depending on what you were looking for, you could have given all of those rounds to Lara, Molina, tied, or a mix. Personally I scored it 6-4 Lara. The biggest difference in landed punches from Molina were only in 3 rounds, but they made his landed punches tally stack up on his total landed punches, but that does not reflect what happened round by round.

For example, Dawson outworked and outlanded Pascal in total punches, by a decent margin. However, Dawson in my eyes lost the fight clearly.

                1) Canelo ducked and dodged a lot of Trout's jabs. He was literally showing off doing it! If Trout had trouble getting to Canelo with jabs, what makes you think he's going to hit Floyd Mayweather of all people?

                2) Every opponent presented something that Floyd had some trouble with but then overcame. Corley and Judah presented problems -- but they were very good fighters in their prime. They gave pretty much everyone trouble back then. It sucks people indirectly try to downplay just how good fighters like them were with the 'problems with southpaws' theory.

Yeah he didnt hit canelo cleanly alot of time cuz was slipping and rolling with it but thats only one fight, trout has a very good consistant jab like de lahoya did,but there r ways to put floyd off balance with the jab and thTs focus jabs to the chest like oscar...oscar is known for having one of the best jabs in the history in boxing but when in there agAinst good defensive fighter like whitaker he was gonna miss it doesnt take away his ability to throw a great jab..so i do believe will hit mayweather with sum clean jabs from time to time...its definately not out of the question

Floyd aint gonna fight either guy anways, theres no monetary value in it for floyd, too much risk no reward,so its not really worth debating over...mayweather is gonna fight khan and get th ko..and then on to the next

                      Its Khan

No other candidate moneywise and easywise plus Mayweather has no KO victory in a long while. Ortiz's KO was a sucker punch.
