It would be more than interesting cause Lara would win. I knew this fight would never happen. The only way Lara could get Floyd is if he will make a name for himself. After Lara beats Trout I would love to see him get a fight with Canelo. He can start calling out Floyd if he beats Canelo next year.

Oh and don't go getting ya panties in a knot..I 'm not saying anything to bash Floyd,it's more so to bash GBP..with good reason,if they are not allowing the best fights to be made..

It's not that GBPs is not allowing those fights to take place but rather stating the obvious of those said fights. I.E. boring, they have no draw/star power and nobody outside of die hard boxing fans call on it to happen.

Hell even the Mayweather haters don't even know who these guys are and would start saying Floyd is fighting "no hopers" or guys who never beat anyone etc etc.

It's the truth. Nobody wants these fights especially when Floyd looks his best at 147. At least he mentioned that Floyd would only move up for "big" fights. One can only assume that is Martinez and/or GGG where name recognition and title/Championship belts are on the line. Not some no name mando's in a fight people would bash once it's over anyway.

The fact he mentioned Floyd moving up only for big fights is about the only thing worth taking from the article.

This is what people want to understand.

A big part of Mayweather's PPV sales are from "Is this the guy that can pull it off". Lara and Trout are as deserving as anybody but although people want to see Floyd lose, they don't want Lara or Trout to be the guy that does it. So you lose that factor.
