Looks like a great talent, but this could backfire. El Siri has been through hell and will not relent.

Why would we want to ruin Lomo's potentially great career by throwing him to the wolves in this his second fight? Has this ever happened?

Even Floyd wouldn't have been ready for Castillo after 2 fights. And that's fine and normal.

Unnecessary. He could be like Rigo. Take 10 fights because after all he is a special case given his long amateur career, but second fight is too risky.

On the other hand, Gary Russell Jr could learn a lesson

I agree, there's a good chance Salido takes him into deep waters and drowns him. But hell of a lot more interesting than Salido fighting some bum off US TV, which would probably happen otherwise. Nobody is making him do it, it's totally Loma's choice

Everybody complaining about lomachenko possibly getting a shot but what did Orlando Cruz do to get a shot, or the 15 bums Chris John has fought or Nicholas Walters and the guys he has given a shot?

Being "in the rankings" while fighting nobodies makes you more deserving?

lol watch him get iced. I don't like the idea at all. But i do not care since it is in a weight class i do not follow very much. If someone got a title shot anywhere above 135 it should not be allowed lol. they wouldn't let molina defend against ortiz but you can defend against a guy with one fight lol

By the time Rigo got a title shot he had Cordoba on his resume. Cordoba is/was a much more accomplished fighter than Jose fkin Ramirez.

Salido went down against Mikey, what, 4 times, and Mikey punches HARD. He also took Juanma's best shots and only went down once. Took Gamboa's best, went down, once I think? Down 6 times against some of the heaviest hands from 126-135....and got up.

If Loma's plan is to box, he better be ready to swim in those proverbial deep waters.
