I rather have someone with 15 bums on their resume than some dude jumping the line with 1 opponent on his.

Lomachenko is no Rigo. He will lose this fight unless Salido gets robbed like they tried to do in the Juanma fights (very possible). Or unless weight cutting finally catches up to Salido.

I respect that they're taking a big risk. If they succeed, it will pay big in the end. If it doesnt, he's ****ed.

Rigo-Lomachenko and Lomachenko-Garcia are such amazing fights, its hard to wrap your mind around the awesomeness of those two potential fights.

Lomo and Mikey (as well as Rigo obviously) are all P4P talents

Huge risk... indeed. Imagine if he wins though... The possiblities are endless, the sky is the limit.

The more people that think Salido will be too much in his 2nd fight, the better for Lomachenko and his stock/hype, IMO.

Would you prefer we get more guys like that no hoper Garza that fought Walters? Or Cruz who qualified by coming out of the closet?

IDK. I think it's a ****** risk to take with such a great talent, but if he pulls it off....

Kid's just 25, and he musta seen some of the other top amateur talent stagnating or being moved real slow despite being unbeaten.

It takes some balls to roll the dice like that, but I guess it ain't surprising that a 400-1 amateur 25 year old believes he's invincible.

                Carpe diem Loma.

So you'd rather have a skill-less bum who fought nobodies for a decade, than a much more impressive guy with 1 win, which is as good as any of their wins?

Jumping what line? Look at the fighters who have faced Chris john or walters and look at who they beat. They're like #60s in the world beating #200s for their entire careers

It is a huge risk and he can go the normal way of coming up, hell even if he doens't fight a top 15-25 guy until his 15th fight, he would be a star in the future..... But IF he managed to overcome Salido in his second fight.... it opens a completely new door. I mean he would have the chance to build a legacy as good as his health and body allows him

Looks like a great talent, but this could backfire. El Siri has been through hell and will not relent.

Why would we want to ruin Lomo's potentially great career by throwing him to the wolves in this his second fight? Has this ever happened?

Even Floyd wouldn't have been ready for Castillo after 2 fights. And that's fine and normal.

Unnecessary. He could be like Rigo. Take 10 fights because after all he is a special case given his long amateur career, but second fight is too risky.

On the other hand, Gary Russell Jr could learn a lesson
