In my opinion, Darchinyan looked great in this fight, and was beating Donaire much more convincingly than Rigondeaux was. Rigondeaux rarely landed combinations while Darchinyan was putting them together and mixing in power punches. He even seemed to rock Donaire a couple of times, and definitely forced Donaire to respect him.

Rigondeaux was mostly running from Donaire and pot shotting.

I give Vic much respect because he took his lumps in the sport of boxing and made no excuses. This fight should have happen before Vic turned 33-34 yrs old but the fake powers that be knew not to chance Vic adjusting and whopping dat azz before Rigo did. Vic in my opinion was the real winner because he showed people that if given a rematch years ago he would have done what he said. Knocked Nonito out cold........

I dont think so. If they fought 2-3 years ago, Vic will suffer a beating that he will never ever forget for the rest of his life. He is so lucky that he fought nonito at this point in time where Nonito's inner fire & motivations was starting to fade. Otherwise, he didn't make it to the 5th round.

I beg to completely disagree. It was the same Donaire we were "used to seeing", even better. It was just, he was facing a more determined, serious, hungry and most of all NOT the over confident/****y Darchinyan "we used to seeing."

Rigo had not lowered anything to Donaire but the his (Donaire's) garterized shorts chasing him (Rigo) all throughout the bout.

If Donaire will go for a rematch against Rigo, he should train in Australia and learn how to chase kangaroos, literally.
