On a serious note: Darchinyan is a little pitbull. The type of guy you want on your side in a brawl lol. He looked great, fast and powerful, I had him winning up until the KO. Nothing but respect for a true scrapper like Darchinyan.
lol came in here to say this... but vic looked really sharp and strong last night..he still has fight left in him and could probably do well at 122 if he chooses to continue on with his career.

I gained a lot of respect for Darchinyan last night. I'm a Donaire fan but am first a boxing fan and him and Donaire put on a show last night. I would like to see Darchinyan fight any of the big names at 122 or 126.

Schooling Donaire outside of the ring at least.

Vic doesn't get nearly enough respect, his level of competition these past years has been incredible.

Even at his age, Vic's showing last night is proof that he deserves some more paydays. He still has that punch and his win over De Valle showed he is no gatekeeper.

There's nothing to be ashamed of. He gave the fans a very intense and entertaining fight. The intensity kept the audience from booing. It's enjoyable. There was no running in this fight except a few on both sides.

Vic won't be having a hard time getting another fight. HBO loves the guy.

It would have been interesting if Darchinyan survived that round, it would have made the fight much closer and not in the bag for Darchinyan. A 10-8 round 9 would have made it Darchinyan winning by 2 points going in to the last round, and another KD in round 10 would have made it 94-94 if my calculations are correct. So Donaire literally needed to get a KO to actually win, or 3 knock downs to win a decision. It was a good comeback KO for Donaire that possibly showed him he should let his hands go more often and stop looking for one punch.

Damn! Hated to see a true warrior lose after being so close to victory. Vic is one of my favorite fighters. Best of luck to you, Vic!
