Same goes for New York City gyms like Gleasons, Menendez, Trinity, Church Street and World Boxing in Union City NJ. They know that the USA is the place to hone their skills..period! There are a few good gyms opening in Eastern Europe one being World Boxing in Poland which is the a partner Gym to World Boxing in NJ. That being said up till now that region has not produced many World Class A1 fighters. Tomasz Adamek is close but he has struggled with Kiltschko in the past and is eager for another shot. Pawel Wolack is another and a good guy as well. Maybe our fellow poster King has trouble understanding the meaning of my post but the hard part for me if that he is insinuating that i am discriminating in some way. That is just laughable and if he carefully reads my post he would understand that....all i can think is that maybe he can't read that well and thats cool too but get the facts straight before you go making innuendo that holds no water. I'm done.
You said that AMericans and Hispanics dominate word class boxing...... Due to the number of champions from Europe at the moment, that simply isn't true. Unless being a titlist doesn't qualify being world class?

Not sure what you're getting at with this post, it's obvious that America has better gyms and training conditions for pro fighters..... that doesn't make American fighters better. You just said it yourself, every day theres a new Eastern Euro coming to an American gym..... And what happens to them? Look at Golovkin, Kovalev, Provodnikov, Lomachenko, etc.... All bursting onto the scene and beating Americans and Hispanics, so how does anything you said prove that Amerians and "Hispanics" are better?

The point I'm making is it doesn't matter where a fighter comes from..... Andre Ward isn't superior fighter to Kessler and Froch because he's American. And Golovkin isn't a superior fighter to Stevens because he's Kazakh. You said that Americans and Hispanics are more dominant then Europeans and then are now saying that the American school is best for fighters to hone their skills, etc..... That's not what you originally said, you said that Americans and Hispanics are more dominant, period. That simply isn't true and 1000 Russians can walk into Wild Card and that won't mean they're less talented then anyone else in there because they came to a top class, foreign gym, wtf

My friend , don't over think my posts. You make my point exactly...they come to America to get better and it works because they train with the best! Hence Provo under Freddie and Marvin and GGG under the guidance of Abel just to name a few. My point was always and remains...Americans & Hispanics are superior fighters , have the best trainers and one can only get better when they train with them.
Now lets get back on topic...we have already hijacked this thread. Best!

The Olympics have showcased many of the great fighters from there and we can thank GGG for opening the door to this region. You can expect to see many many more great Boxers from Kazakhstan (Very tough guys and well trained).
I am Kazakh, and for sure I know KZ is not in Eastern Europe
My response was don't forget abt Kazakhstan to the statement that the world amateur stage it's owned by Ukraine/Russia along with Cuba. Agree with all the rest you've said though, thanks)

I agree that fighters come to America to get better due to top class training but i strongly disagree that "americans and hispanics are superior fighters".... , you've provided no proof for that.Where as I'm telling you to look at the number of champions from Europe (and even Asia) Any Asian or European can come to America and train with Freddy Roach and be just as good as any American or "hispanic" I really just don't see how you can say that nor why ethnicity/nationality matters at all..... And you grouping "Americans" and "Hispanics" together just shows how ignorant you are.... Sorry.

              Anyway, moving on.

You must be a Troll or a wind up artist because i really don't think you can be that illiterate with such weak reading skills so let me close this ****** debate.....who from Eastern Europe is beating US (FMM, Ward to name 2), Mexican (Canelo, JMM, Cahvez Jr), Puerto Rican (Cotto), Dominican etc etc etc fighters???? Name one???? You can't because there aren't any. I rest my case.

                • Golovkin himself admitted there is almost zero professional boxing in the post-Soviet Union countries, including Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. He said the fundamentals (i.e. ams) are great and really developed, but specific professional training is lacking, that's why he went to Germany first. Moreover, he even admitted that pro training in the US is better than in Germany, that's why he went to the US to train with Abel - with various fighting styles American/Mexican he could learn more and more consistently than in Germany.

So I think it's a bit pointless to argue who are the best - Eastern Europeans or Americans. GGG is a product of all influences and that makes him special. He wouldn't be GGG today without any of those schools.

Lmao, are you kidding me? Did you really just post this after attempting to sound like a know-it-all trainer for the past 2 pages? You're an idiot!!

                    • *Yawn* What else is new? I withdraw my respect towards Murray, disgraceful ducker just like Sergio. "Yeah, yeah we are going to fight him... at some point...". Golovkin has got everyone from 154 all the way up to 168 shook and scared.

Here's the thing though, EVERY TOP 10 fighters who ducks Golovkin too will translate into a WIN for Golovkin. MEANING that Golovkin will move into their P4P place officially. If you are avoiding him, then you are losing your place. Right now, Golovkin snatched Sergio's spot and Sergio is out of the top 10 in my eyes. IF Mayweather ducks Golovkin he will move down and Golovkin will move up into top 3 - period.

Same goes with Andre Ward... if anyone has him in their top 10 that is.
