So many duckers because there's so many people willing to give excuses for the duckings.

Not all boxers are as brave as say a guy like darchinyan. People may seem that " Oh these guys fight for a living they not scared of anyone " not the case at all.

Boxers along with their promoters are trying to plan out careers more so than make single fight plans. You even hear boxers sounding more business minded in interviews. I would actually blame Mayweather for this. He has shown that choosing your opponents with some sort of strategy can make a huge difference in how your boxing career could turn out.

many of the guys complaining on bscene don't buy ppv, or HBO or showtime subs. they stream, and they still complain.

no boxer has ever lined up the best fighters one after the other just to please fans. they fight for money. promotors promote for money. they measure risk against potential rewards, and make decisions accordingly. their goal is to maximize earnings over the long run with as little risk as possible.

when the money is right for the hard fights, they'll be taken. that's the way it's always been.

boxing is a business ordered by money. if you want to watch a tournament format [and teams that share profits,] then find another sport.

would i like to see guys take the hardest fights in succession? of course. i am realistic about this game. i know too much about it to be anything else.

I agree that fans should not only expect but demand the best from sports athletes but in so many ways we fall short. We also do a terrible job of demanding the best from the owners of the leagues and commissions themselves.
