He looked like he wanted to cry. And he said he taught about quitting because Vic broke his cheek. Not a good sign. He didn't exorcise anything. Looked more vulnerable ever.

Donaire didn't seem to have the same desire and that was mentioned by the commentating team how he had only some of the fire back.....that means something is not there and then at the end, some of his words kind of indicated the same thing about thinking about quitting because of his cheek. He will need to do some soul-searching and devote to his family 100% or focus on Boxing 100%. He has more than enough to retire and a complete family....he has to decide what he wants to do the rest of his life.

thanks bro I have to see the fight, but I do not think it is that bad, this is his first fight at 126, but probably needs to fight another contender before the big guys...

I mean he made his name fighting a so so fighter in Montiel,
beating a grandpa in Arce, and an amateur in Vasquez. Against Rigo he lost, and a very old and faded Vic gave him trouble.

Maybe Donaire isn't who we thought he was.
Donaire looked alot better against darchinyan in their first fight...and Vic gives alot of guys problems like he did against mares...I think donaire just lost something in that rigo fight

Let's try and keep things in their proper perspective. Nonito Donaire was matched tonight against an aging, blown up Flyweight, in Vic Darchinyan because Top Rank and HBO believed that it would help recycle his career by making him look good against a perfect styled opponent.

However, their strategy backfired. Donaire struggled mightily against an over matched opponent. Yes he may have won the battle in the end but among most boxing fans his uneven performance left them with more questions than answers about his future.

For example, many boxing fans want to know if Nonito is primed and ready for the natural and upper echelon fighters of the Featherweight division. Like potential opponents such as: Abner Mares, Johnny Gonzalez, Orlando Salido, Gary Russell, Jr, Daniel Ponce De leon, Leo Santa Cruz or even a rematch with Guillermo Rigondeaux. Based off this recent performance, I don't think he is.

Styles make fights. Donaire has a hard time with lefties and is better with righties Mares the same thing as we saw the left Jhonny Gonzalez KO him. Donaire would have an easier time with Mares than he had tonight with Darchinyan.

I think Rigo took his heart. Sad, because I loved to watch Nonito, but I don't see him being the same fighter he was pre Rigo.
I had Vic up prior to this stoppage, and this is an old, worn out Vic.
he just **** your mother; s ass it was a ko so dont complain...try to fight him so we can say what you are telling
