Instead he landed it, hesitated and stayed in the pocket with a bad angle and footing. ******. Donaire is too sharp to lazily hold out that right to measure him at that distance.
    Exactly what I saw

Donaire just has some difficulty with lefties. People are still not giving Darchinyan credit, he's one of the greatest boxers ever at the lower weights. He obviously been wanting this rematch for 7 years and has game planned all those years. A true sign of a champion is persevering when the going gets tough and Donaire came through in the championship rounds and TKO'd Darchinyan.

He looked bad and scared to throw. His next fight will really prove where he is.He needs someone who will test him but not bring him into deep waters and drown him.He needs to build his confidence back up again and his passion for boxing. Also he depends too much on his power that's what almost cost him this fight and it lost him the rigo fight.

I think Darchinyan simply surprised Nonito by being a lot smarter and sharper than most people expected. Nonito didn't adjust, he simply took advantage of an opportunity that Darchinyan gave him. He is who he is, technically limited but a pleasure to watch when he's in the right circumstances.

I mean he made his name fighting a so so fighter in Montiel,
beating a grandpa in Arce, and an amateur in Vasquez. Against Rigo he lost, and a very old and faded Vic gave him trouble.

Maybe Donaire isn't who we thought he was.
Montiel was so so? He was the bantamweight king, were you even following boxing back then?

Not as bad as people are saying. However I expected better but it's not like he's some washed up fighter now.

He did what was expected of him. Vic did as well but went out fighting. I have to go back and rematch it as I was DJing for a client that (lucky me) had it on.

I was dumbfounded when Kellerman said after the win that Nonito had exorcized the demons of the lose to Rigo. When it looked to me that he filled another whole closet full of demons with that performance. I really believe the Filipino Flash has burnt out and is now little more of a flicker that is running out of oxygen.
