If they list a fight that hasnt been confirmed and then it doesnt happen, it is made off a rumor.
They listed Golovkin-Murray last sundayComment
-
Nope. They listed Canelo-Williams, Mosley-Judah, Mayweather-Alexander(From the horses mouth himself Floyd Mayweather publicly said it will be Alexander).
Those fights fell through for one reason or the other. It happens a lot in boxing. Fights appear to be on their way according to all sources, including the fighters themselves, then it falls through.
Right now i'm, pretty sure Murray thinks his next opponent is Golovkin.Comment

Because Richard Schafer said he was going to try to do it for November 2nd?
Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that he wants to put together a high stakes showdown between WBA interim-welterweight king Keith "One Time" Thurman, and former champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero, for November 2nd. Golden Boy is planning a big event for the date and Thurman-Guerrero is on Schaefer's radar for the show. Thurman (21-0, 19KOs) last fought on July 27th, when he knocked out previously undefeated Diego Chaves in an action-packed fight. Guerrero (32-2-1, 18KOs) last fought in May, losing a twelve round decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
If it comes from the actual people involved in making the fight, Boxrec will be on it like white on rice. Just live with it, it really isn't killing anyone.Comment
