HBO might be putting money in... but I assumed they'd just be showing the replay later.
If HBO picks it up they'll show it live then if they have a card later it'll be on replay they showed Froch/Kessler live not sure why not this Murray has the Martinez fight for a reference

Boxrec does not make things up according to rumors. If they had a fight up there that fell through, it was just that, it fell through. Never just made up out of nowhere or out of rumors.

Steve Kim@stevemaxboxing 2m On the phone with Tom Loeffler, he says about a GGG-Murray fight, he says he has offered that fight in the past and was turned down

Steve Kim@stevemaxboxing 33s Call the Daily Mail story on GGG-Murray 'erroneous' says Tom Loeffler. Plan is for Golovkin to fight on Feb 1st in Monte Carlo, regardless

If they list a fight that hasnt been confirmed and then it doesnt happen, it is made off a rumor.

              They listed Golovkin-Murray last sunday

Nope. They listed Canelo-Williams, Mosley-Judah, Mayweather-Alexander(From the horses mouth himself Floyd Mayweather publicly said it will be Alexander).

Those fights fell through for one reason or the other. It happens a lot in boxing. Fights appear to be on their way according to all sources, including the fighters themselves, then it falls through.

Right now i'm, pretty sure Murray thinks his next opponent is Golovkin.

They listed Guerrero Thurman recently, and left it up there even after Guerrero said he's not interested

Because Richard Schafer said he was going to try to do it for November 2nd?

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that he wants to put together a high stakes showdown between WBA interim-welterweight king Keith "One Time" Thurman, and former champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero, for November 2nd. Golden Boy is planning a big event for the date and Thurman-Guerrero is on Schaefer's radar for the show. Thurman (21-0, 19KOs) last fought on July 27th, when he knocked out previously undefeated Diego Chaves in an action-packed fight. Guerrero (32-2-1, 18KOs) last fought in May, losing a twelve round decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

If it comes from the actual people involved in making the fight, Boxrec will be on it like white on rice. Just live with it, it really isn't killing anyone.
