The fight aired 2 hours earlier than scheduled because of the rain and it was up against a Showtime card. Presumably had HBO accepted the fight, it would be in the US and in prime time this time so ratings don't suffer.

HBO is dumb! Martinez fights are always exciting, and Rubio is a fighter who always gives his all. Bad move IMO, this is the Midddle weight king (at least for now) oh well good measuring stick to see where Sergio is at.

Theres nothing exciting about Sergio unless your waiting for his opponent to catch up to him and see if Sergio will go down from one punch. HBO is NOT going to carry this guys tune up and without a KNOWN opponent Sergio can't sell peanuts! Sitting around waiting for this guy to stop running away is NOT exciting. Junior is a horrible green fighter and the alure to that joke bout was if & when he could catch up and if Sergio could stand up when he got hit!!!
That was it, 90 seconds of intrique!!!!
Can anyone imagine Sergio in with the great middleweights? He'd get hurt bad!
