Why do people dislike Ward?

Style, and his inactivity since winning the Super Six has placed a damper on the enthusiasm that once existed for him. After the Froch fight, only the "I hate anyone remotely defensive" club had anything bad to say about him.

Style can be ugly to watch, but I don't like the fact he's way to inactive... if that Goosen promotional beef escalated, he'd be even more inactive. I think Arum will ultimately try to snatch him away and Goosen will do everything he can to keep him

I enjoy watching Rigo and Floyd and don't find them boring at all, but something about Ward puts my ass straight to sleep.

i was thinking the same. thanks for saying it. i like stylists like floyd, sergio, rigo, mickey, etc, but i could never get into and like a ward fight.

I thought Ward was injured??He fought twice in 2011 which is good..Once in 2012 which also was good with the whole super six and a big fight with Dawson..If he did not get injured I believe he would have fought already..

Well, he was inactive by way of injury I guess you could say.... but during the whole injury and recovery process, he tried to go to Top Rank. Now... this is yet to happen, but Goosen was ready to sue Ward if he left him.

Yea,I believe Arum tried to do what he did with Bradley but it did not work on Goosen..Goosen is to smart for that,but after this fight..I could see Ward going to TR..

I refusal to fight out of the USA and then cry for big money. Well the big money is in europe for him. Him fighting the whole super six in oakland was disgusting to say the leat!

As a fighter he can be somewhat boring sometimes, but he is very good at he does.
