His style isnt fan friendly, although its technically extremely good.

He also uses his fair share of ugly tactics (like the Kessler headbutts) to win each fight, round by round.

He's a very boring person who uses his voice to put people to sleep rather than his fists.

Then there's 'son of god' monicker.

And he only fights in his hometown in front of a few people.

    He has no star quality.

    He looks like Droopy.

He doesn't have a smokin hot woman like Froch.

I don't think many people here have anything against Ward personally, he's a classy guy. He should get more respect.

Fans HATE fighters that win every time and win easily. If said fighter wins with crushing KOs, then theyre a little easier on them, but the fact remains true.

They want the Gattis. The Rocky storylines. They want to see guys get humbled, lose a bunch of fights, start from the bottom and rebuild ("thats when he earned my respect"), and climb back stop again as the credits role.

Fighters that dominate consistently for long peropds every time are always vilified. Look at history, look at what people said about fighters during their era.

Joe Lewis - Fought the bum of the month
Marciano - Only fought past-prime fighters
Ali - No one to challenge his skills, wouldnt last in Golden Era
          Holmes - Weak division
Chavez - Only fights cab drivers
Tyson - Lost to the first guy that wasn't afraid of him
Jones - Weak opposition, ducked real challenges
Lewis - No chin, no heart, never fought anyone
          Klitschko - weak division, boring
          Mayweather - product of matchmaking
          Pacquiao - product of matchmaking

If Ward lost a few fights, then came back and won his next one or two with brutal KOs, people would be giving him mad respect. Boxing fans are shallow and need some goofy ass storyline; when they see a guy just wins and wins and wins easily every time, they say to themselves "If he's winning easily, it must be because he is avoiding dangerous fighters." or "he must be cheating or doing something dishonest."

Mostly anti-American posters that hate on him.

People say they hate Floyd/Broner because they're flashy and ****y, people hate Ward because he's not flashy and doesn't brag. There's just no pleasing these people. Same thing goes for any other American fighter, meanwhile foreigners get hyped like crazy, it's not a coincidence.

Ward has some weird sanctimonious thing going on that reeks of Virgil Hunter. That and his fouling is why I don't like him, but I'm not against him in the upcoming fight against Edwin. Hoping they knock each other out.

i thought most people liked Ward. The only negative about him is his refusal to drop down or go up in weight to where he can earn much more money than he currently is now and the fact that he refuses to leave CA as champion.

LOL @ looking like droopy. He does seem to look like he's had a stroke doesn't he? haha.

Now Broner i'm not a fan of because he's obviously trying to be Floyd 2.0 but is no where near as good to where Malignaggi exposed him. Alexander imo would beat Broner.

The United lands monarch gladiator eliminates all intruders

Red blood splatters on the sand as the hero wins again

Taking pity on his prey, the monarch is disband

Cowardness prevents the thunderbolt striking the spines of the crowd.

                    (He's boring)

Some because of race, some because of his nationality, some because his style. The rest are bitter Abraham and Froch fans.
