Why do people dislike Ward?

He fights and beats the best
He represented the U.S. and did the country proud
He's never been one to disparage his opponents or act overly c ocky

I don't get it
I see a lot of people who diss him but never understood why
Some say his style is boring
I don't agree but even if you think that, is that really a reason to diss the guy?

He ducked Bute,He was gonna duck his mandatory challenger Anthony Dirrell but Anthony Dirrell got into a motorcycle accident,He fought a weight drained Chad Dawson rather then fighting Dawson at a catchweight.He could`ve have fought Adonis Next,but instead he chose a fighter whose made to order for him.He acts holier then thou but yet he worked with a PED dealer called Victor Conte,Floyd called him up to wish him luck when Ward was fighting for his first title,then Ward turn around and root for Guerrero to beat Floyd.Very too faced fighter;One minute he`s praising Floyd the next he`s takes subliminal shots at Floyd with comments like:I`m not one of those people who like to brag,my father taught me better then that","i don`t disrespect the sport,i`m not one of those guys who says in every preparation for a fight that i`m in the best shape of my life,i`m always in the best shape of my life".He`s held to a different standard the other fighters;he`s allowed to hand pick opponents with no criticism,while others are expected to take the toughest fights out there.

I dont like him because he openly rooted for a mexican to beat floyd. You didnt see marquez rooting for floyd vs canelo

Ward is one of the more likable guys in boxing, very classy chap.

Ward and Guerrero are childhood friends dating back from their days in the Bay area. Gladly boxers are color blind unlike the ignorant fans.

I don't dislike him, but the test dodging has certainly negatively impacted my view of him.

I don't want to get analytical or philosophic here but Andre Ward is one of the best fighters in the game today. He doesn't duck, i seriously doubt that he dope's (i'm curious why people think that - he certainly does not give the physical impression that he does) and he always exudes a sense of class when he's interviewed. You can't be everything in life including a great boxer and a great entertainer at the same time but I still support him and respect him just the same.

I can't call it,I can't lie tho..I did not like Ward at first either..I'm a Froch guy,so that's most likely why I felt this way at first..Over time tho he's really won me over..I'm still a Froch guy,but I have so much respect for Wards skill..Great fighter..

That's where Dawson wanted to fight Ward..How is that a b1tch move??Dawson not only called Ward out,but called him out at 168lb..You should say dumb move by Dawson..

Even tho I believe Ward would have done the same thing to Dawson no matter the weight..
