Kostya Tsyzu actually did pretty well against the slick guys. Zab and Sharmba Mitchell may be his biggest wins. And ironically, those are probably the slickest guys he faced at the highest level.

I'm sure none of those dudes are on his mind......because he would lose to all of them.

Ward is always seemingly annoyed when someone brings up Golovkin. And when the two exchange greetings Ward always wants to get it over with and not have any extended interaction.

Did you see Golovkin's fights against the two slickest fighters he's faced, Ian Gardner and Kassim Ouma?
Wow, just wow wow wow. You're an idiot.

This ****** ass brought up ancient GG fights against fighters who were never even known as slick fighters. I knew NSB was in the ****ter but damn. ANYTHING to discredit a fighter you don't like.

I mean I couldve brought up how Ward got decked by Darnell Boone but that would be ******ed, right?

From what I've hear of GGG's English. There isn't a whole lotta interaction he and Ward can have.

Floyd has been moving up and fighting champions at higher weights for a long time brother. And to my knowledge, he's only fought one catchweight fight. So exactly where are you getting your information?

Why are people getting so bent out of shape? All Ward said was that he's only focused on Rodriguez, you know his current opponent! Ward hasn't ducked anyone in his career which leads me to believe he would take on any of the fighters mentioned provided it made financial sense.

You and that King guy seem to be the most clueless posters in this thread. No one is opposing that those fights get made. What they are saying as well as Ward, is that even in beating those fighters, they don't do much for his ranking at the moment. GGG is a tremendous talent, I'm really big on Stevenson and I wouldn't miss a Kovalev fight for the world, funny guy, but most argue that these fighters have not done anything to make a win over them extraordinary. I'm sure everyone agrees that they would be decent wins for Ward. But how about if GGG beats Sergio, then a win would go from decent to great. Or what if Stevenson was to beat Kovalev before fighting Ward, that would then be a great win that would catapult his ranking. Floyd fought Canelo when 90% of the world begged for it, did it do anything for his ATG status? Absolutely not. Now if Canelo had beaten Lara, Angulo and Trout, then it would have been a phenomenal win for Floyd. Do you get where I'm going? A win over a good talent is cool, but a win over a proven talent is extraordinary.
