did it occur to any of you that tarver threw the punch where he thought roys head was going to move? i still voted lucky because roy is one of my favorite fighters

I read on the internet that a writer believes this was a blind punch that happened to land by Tarver.

I disagree. I just think Tarver had his chin down and was willing to take a punch to land the big one against Roy.

the hook didnt hit Tarver in the face...it his him in his neck/uppershoulder area

in the countdown to tarver/jones III, tarver said that he used all his pent up anger and frustration to throw that punch and KO jones. i think THAT is bull****. that punch was thrown way too soon and thrown way too short for it to be that dramatic.
