Honestly I'd love for it to be at Yankee Stadium - scheduling issues prevented me from attending the Cotto-Foreman one
I'd love to see this in a huge stadium. Don't get me wrong - Cotto/Margarito II was probably the greatest boxing experience personally - but man, going to watch it in Yankee Stadium would be pretty sickComment

HAHA, we'll see man. If Sergio can get his knee right and they don't fight outside in a thunderstorm, Cotto is going to have a rough, rough night in there. I'll bet with you when the fight rolls around, it should be a foty candidate.Comment

Cotto's jab is the key to this fight. With the way Martinez fights he is open for jabs to get in all night long and if Cotto can time his attack Sergio will have to change his game a bit and raise his guard to defend from the jab. That will open the body for Cotto to attack it.
Sergio is used to guys coming in and attacking him in straight lines but Cotto at his best doesnt do that. He cuts the ring off better than anyone I seen since Julio Cesar Chavez Sr and he has feints and movements when he comes in so is not that easy to pick him apart from the outside. Also Cotto must be busy and not let Martinez outwork him because if he is tentative like in the Trout fight Sergio will not let him throw a punch because of the workrate.
I think this fight will be fireworks and I expect Cotto to come in like a bull and look to end the fight early because the longer it goes the lower the chances get so he must come in seek and destroy mode.Comment
