Stopping fights on medical grounds?

Doctors, referees, and trainers all need to do a better job of asserting themselves into fights before these types of injuries happen. Problem is, like everything else involved with the sport, you end up with corrupt doctors and referees, which leaves the corner as the only thing left. And most of them don't want to anger their fighter by stopping a fight when they should.

I'm not as stubborn as I may come across but I do strongly feel more could be done.
