    I highly doubt it.

JMM had to KO Manny, and Bradley had to become famous for robbing Manny to headline their PPV together.
Martinez already headlined a PPV against Chavez, maybe he wasn't the main draw but it doesn't matter, people know who he is and like watching him fight. If he signed a deal with Cotto or Canelo you can bet that fight would be PPV no questions asked.

Golovkin is not exactly a PPV star yet but the dude has turned tons of heads in the middleweight division. People would pay money to see him fight the best. I know I would.

There's no major promoter behind either fighter, that's really the only obstacle to this being an HBO PPV.

      Bad idea

Floyd vs guerrero proves it, the awful business move by golden girls cost Showtime like 20m loss

The best way to do it is to have other guys fight on a non ppv
Top rank and hbo are already killing golden girls and Showtime in ratings hence golden girls running and *****ing like a dumped ex to the media 24-7

So no need to change it

        Sergio/Canelo = VERY GOOD PPV
        Sergio/Cotto = VERY GOOD PPV

Sergio/GGG = HBO would never sign off on it.

The fight is equivalent to Donaire/Rigo. It'll get the HBO world championship boxing, royal treatment, but not PPV treatment.

Well, it's more or less the reality of Sergio's position that he can make more money fighting Canelo or Cotto. Chances are the GGG fight will never happen anyway, sad to say.
