Ali's career post-Norton lll was full of him avoiding other fighters and selecting guys who had no business being in the ring with him. He clearly and blatantly ducked a lucrative rematch with Foreman during this period.
And as far as the topic of "ducking" is concerned: do yourself a favour and avoid any level of conversation with 'SlurpaSlurpa.' That quote of idiots and being dragged down to their level springs to mind with regards to him.Comment

I dont count frazier, Norton etc because they werent polarizing enough to get a nod for being the GOAT. I count Ali, SRR, SRL, and FMJ. Those are the guys that outshined in their era. If people stop going out of their way to discredit Floyd, I think people would see him as the GOAT in history. His skills are legendary. He fights a variation of unique styles, and completely compromises his own style in order to dominate them without getting grazed. People make it seem like he cherrypicks random bums from mexico, and they go out of their way to discredit him. If people realize that other fighters have done WORSE cherrypicking, and they just focused on skillset, I think Floyd is the best fighter I have ever witnessed. Im not a fanboy of his like some of the guys here, but it really bothers me that people discredit the man. He can f.ucking FIGHT forget all that ducking and picking opponents mess.Comment

But he dominated and knocked him out. It wasnt a close fight like SRL Hagler. SRL ducked him, cherrypicked him when he was old, barely won, and didnt give a rematch.Ali's career post-Norton lll was full of him avoiding other fighters and selecting guys who had no business being in the ring with him. He clearly and blatantly ducked a lucrative rematch with Foreman during this period.

He has supreme skills no doubt. But he still ducked Pacquiao. No big deal though. Human nature.I dont count frazier, Norton etc because they werent polarizing enough to get a nod for being the GOAT.
