I actually think the fight would have been made but Floyd didn't want it. We both know both sides of the argument so no need to go there.

There are just too many personal things Mayweather and his promoters injected into the whole saga. Personal attacks, character defamations... They just made it to personal and in my entrepreneurial opinion, showed that business was not their priority.

This belief was further cemented when TR reserved the MGM Grand for the JCCJR fight vs Martinez bout. GBP looking out for their own personal egos and pride went ahead and scheduled Canelo down the street at the Thomas and Mack center, forcing boxing fans to choose which event to watch. Just bad for boxing and bad for business. Made absolutely no sense.

On the other hand, Bradley Marquez was intended to be held on Mexican Independence Day, but when GBP took that date for Mayweather vs Canelo, TR rescheduled for October.

Too many personal feelings from GBP and Mayweather.

Two events in one night is not bad for boxing. Bad for business, sure. Bob re-schuduing was smart as he knew his show would bomb when Mayweather is fighting.

The "personal attacks" is all fairy bull****. Business is not always fare or always on positive terms. Business is business and the personal attacks excuse is just that an excuse.

If money is to be made than you make it and Pac never wanted to make the money when the money was to be made. He wanted Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, JMM and Bradley because he wouldn't have to take blood tests in doing so.

Now in 2013, it's a different story since Pac agreed to finally test for TR's WW World Super Champion in Rios.

Like I said years ago if Bob Arum wants a fight, he will make a fight. He's been making fights for decades. There is nothing Bob can't handle. He's a boxing legend. However his days are limited.

You can't force someone to fight if they don't want to fight. There are some guys you just have to duck and I think in the case of Mayweather, somewhere along the line his father convinced him to duck Pacquiao. That is my opinion.

And I do not believe Pacquiao ducked Mayweather. If he ducked Mayweather he would never have given Marquez 4 fights. Furthermore, Katsidis was mentioned as a possible opponent for Pacquiao and they straight up told the truth and said Katsidis was someone they better avoid and it was that simple.

On another note, I do think **** Schaeffer is a fantastic businessman and an asset to the sport. But he does have to take orders from De La Hoya and I think that does get in the way of some of things Schaeffer wants to get done.

Schaeffer started the Tecate discount rebates for the big PPVs and brought boxing back to movie theaters giving people without cable an opportunity to pay and contribute to the PPV sales.

Schaefer was also prepared and ready to travel to Texas to get the ball rolling with Arum and Jerry Jones on staging Mayweather vs Pacquiao at Cowboys stadium. But, for whatever reasons, Scaheffer was a no show and I do not believe it was his decision to stiff Jones and Arum.

It's fine, you can believe whatever you want to believe. The problem is, if Floyd didn't wan't to fight Pac he wouldn't have gone to the table to negotiate. Think of the Mayweather vs PWILL negotiations or the Mayweather vs Margarito negotiations. Remember them? Neither do I.

When Pac went full coward over testing, that was all it took. If he had only agreed and not made a big deal nobody would have accused anyone of cheating or made "personal attacks". Pac never agreed and made a HUGE deal about nothing. Kind of like that cyclist that got so butt hurt when people accused him. Remember that guy? He smiled a lot and seemed like a really nice guy. Did I mentioned he smiled a lot? He was so nice up until people accused him. Now look at him. Made a big deal but ended up getting exposed.

Either he milks Manny until he's done and ready to make it or Pac leaves Arum when his contract expires (end of 2014 I believe). Ironically this was when Bob mentioned the fight could be made. How ironic.
