Man, how crazy is this situation? His career is over and he will likely never be the same again once his has gone through rehab and stuff. I feel bad for the guy, his life stops in it's tracks and the world spins on without missing a beat as people eagerly await this week's fights.

People should really appreciate this sport and what people go through to participate in it.

He thought he was 100% going to die when brought in?? **** when first reported he was taken in didn't seem so bad as it progressed we got to find out the truth but seems that doctors knew he was in serious trouble from the beginning. At least some good news tho hope he starts coming back, more and more, but they should be careful with his reflexes dude knocked out everybody he faced maybe punch a doctor.... Would be a good sign tho .

Tony Margarito was fighting with only one good eye from round 2 & getting a bit of a beating. Doctor never thought of stopping fight until Cotto started to wilt & Margarito was beating his chest yelling C'mon C'mon. Then the crooked doc stepped in & stopped the fight. Not to save Margarito but to save Cotto the embarrassment of having to QUIT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Awesome news! Mago once again proves his toughness. This man is something else. Now the hope is that he recovers fully.

Goddamn!!! I had no idea it was THIS bad. He survived which is amazing but to read he has a LONG way to go in rehabilitation just lets you know how severe this was. Goddamn. And the guy fought every single round like a warrior. Warrior in the ring, warrior outside of it. Wish him nothing but the best, a lot of positive energy and vibes for him and his family.

If I was a millionaire I'd make damn sure he was set for life with a donation.

Surviving might be worst than dying in this situation. Just because you "survive" doesn't mean anything until you actually see what situation he really is in.
