Wouldn't it be great if HBO or some of the others who made millions that night donated a little money for Magomed's retirement.

I had no idea they removed part that much of the skull. I always thought they just drilled a needle in an used a syringe to drain the blood

As i read it the small piece removed from his skull was mainly to alleviate the swelling of his brain .

Man looking at the fight you could see his face looked huge, he was just too damn determined but, you guys are right his corner should have stopped it sooner. It's too bad because he will never be the same.

I cringed at the thought of it. Sometimes we forget these are fragile humans just like you and me and want to see more blood and violence. Well I am a bit ****ed up so I will continue to want to see violence and all of that but I wish him nothing but the best. All of these risks are part of the sport we fell in love with, it is a combat sport and these things happen.

I just read this at ESPN, awful news, but these HW's hit each other with tremendous force that it's incredible how this doesn't happen often.
