Damn that sucks. Wish the best for him.

And if he had quit he would have been labeled a "quitter" by a bunch of fat ****ing ****** losers who have never boxed a day in their life.

That sucks, was almost the definition of being too tough for your own good.

Not a big believe in compubox but they said 321 punches landed by Perez and even if Perez is not a big one punch guy those were very heavy blows even the jabs. 32 punches a round by a heavyweight is brutal punishment.

Hopefully he can pull through, best wishes to him

This is why I am not a fan of a style in which you just eat punches and don't move your head or try to block MOST of the punches coming at you, he was taking way too many FLUSH punches

IT IS ***IN DANGEROUS AND ******! Sure fans find entertainment in it because they are not the ones getting hit but it is just a ****** way to fight

        Best wishes to Abdusalamov! DAMN!

I missed the fights last night, but heard about how these guys punished each other. I hope he gets through this and as new england said, Life is so much more important than boxing.

Hate hearing stuff like this. Hopefully he can recover. I have a lot of respect for this guy. Get well soon!

He was in a fist fight Saturday night in MSG.

From the sounds of it he will be OK. As long as it remains a small clot near or on the surface. The induced coma is a precautionary measure, to reduce his stress and blood pressure.

He will probably not fight again, but he should live a normal life as long as they keep him stable over he next few days.
