Don't care about the Rios fight, but I am sure they'll do about 700-800k PPV buys but when it comes to non PPV, HBO imo has the edge because it's mostly action packed main event. Showtime should have saved the Garcia/Lucas fight to a different date.

LOOK, I'm no racist. I have favorites over the years that were some of the greatest of all time. I loved Ali, I love Larry Holmes, Ray Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Pryor, Tyson, Holyfield, Hopkins... they all came to fight. They fought the best of the best, multiple times if needed, during their primes. I love that about ANY fighter, regardless of race. What I tire from is the brother that comes on to thread these racial put downs, signs up for these mouthy thugs like Stevens, like Broner, like Mayweather, and they thread their gross comments, and on and on. When their pony takes a beat down, then they pull that weasel, and come up with trashy excuses, and now Stevens is a journeyman, he was too short, too short of arm length... just say he showed up and took an azz kicking and get on to the next fight. TO sit and dig up the next brutha whos' to take out GGG, and not give Gennady any credit, isn't credible, and it's boxing uneducated. At least when a Mexican gets beaten down, they man up and call it that, unless your name is JMM. TRUE, I saw no way Canelo could lose his fight with Floyd. Canelo destroyed Trout, was young and a lot of momentum coming into the fight. Floyd chose to stay away from Guerrero, and the fight with Cotto, Floyd did not look good. Hence being adamant Canelo walks thru him. It didn't work out that way, but I have no problem owning that. I think Mayweather is another punk that wants to trash talk, act gangster, frequent strip clubs and rough up his children's mom, while they are fast a sleep in bed, waiting for daddy to come home. He's all about the $$$. At the end of the day he's a deadbeat. Vinnie Pazienza is a deadbeat and he's Italian. I think ggg knocks out Martinez and quillin. Martinez is getting old and is ripe for the taking, and ggg is on another level in comparison to quillin.
I thought Stevens did well, can keep his head up after that gutsy effort. And ggg did well too, but that was the most vulnerable I have seen him.

Golovkin did exactly what he needed to do. He beat a fighter he was supposed to beat. Stevens did way better than Macklin but of course he doesn't the same credit for it.

I'm confused by people saying Golovkin was exposed and now will get beat by everyone at MW. I could see if he was the one that got KD'd but he didn't. He took alot of big shots and was hardly phased.

I still see his flaws but he should be able to have a good run at MW. I think he beats Martinez easily (I don't even see that fight getting made). I would love to see him against Ward.

GGG needs a translator his English is horrible, but he did his job and used that jab of his as a range finder and took some good shots but I thought Curtis Stevens was going to come out as the winner !!! Good Win for GGG!!
