Stevens fought hard last night but GGG did his thing last night and showed not only can he punch but he can also take a punch as well.

Plus, they could do it at 154. Golovkin has already said he will go down there for a big fight. Why wouldn't Mayweather step up and fight Golovkin at 154? Same reason Martinez won't fight him at 160: way too much risk and not enough reward. Before he got old, Martinez would have a shot with his much superior foot speed. Mayweather would be in trouble. Golovkin throws in great combinations and his power would overwhelm Floyd's shoulder roll defense.

I would have him rather shot his load in round two and went out guns blazingbut by backing up the majority of the night he allowed GGG to unleashe on him.
I am now convinced that GGG is the real deal . . . he needed to beat an established American middleweight and he did so convincingly. The shocked look on Stevens face spoke volumes to me during that knock down.

There is nothing exceptional about golovkin he has decent power and appears to be aggressive and determined those are his best attributes, but in terms of displaying exceptional skill, boxing ability and punching power I just don't see it, I am more of a realist and base my feelings on what I am seeing with my own eyes as opposed to all the hype that's being heaped on a fighter. He sounds like the second coming of kelly pavlik and or edison miranda to me they were comparing miranda to hopkins before he got exposed and pavlik to hagler before he was ran into the ground, blasphemous and absurd comparisons I might add, golovkin is simply the second coming of miranda and kelly pavlik, that's about it, I will give him that much, there is nothing spectacular about him and as soon as he faces someone who can fight, has power, a chin and skill, he will be exposed and stopped remember you heard it here first.
Yeah and we heard it from YOU first.
Enough with your bitter sarcasm already. GGG is real so man up and deal with it.
