It's busters like you that really irritate the **** out of me with you ignorant comments about " bruthas this and uneducated that". So much so that I went and looked at your posts that you have placed on this site.
In particular your post about what Canelo was going to do to Floyd and how Floyd would not stand and trade and he would be on his bike this and that, just to see if the comment you placed in this tread was isolated to the fight that took place tonight. You know, because that's what folks do before shooting their mouth off, making generalized statements about a group of people.
I happen to be a well educated Black Man, that is man enough to judge a fight with no bias or concern about the ethic background of the fighter(s) and don't spew hatred based on a personal dislike for a particular fighter. Nor do I dis-credit a section of a fighters fanbase because of their race or ethnic background. From your posts and the one quoted here, you obviously have an issue with black folks that are doing well in life and mostly likely much better than you. Or is it you just have an issue with black folks in general. Going forward, could you please leave ones race and/or ethnicity out of your post and just focus on the fighters performance or lack there of. For anyone else reading this post could you please do the same. When you insult or champion someone based on there race, you take away any and all focus on the point you are trying to make about the fighter or situation.
Now because I looked at your post I'm sure you're going to look at mine and try making this a pissing match. You will see in my post that I have been critical of Bob Arum and Manny Pac but that's not because of their race but more so of the bs Arum spews and Manny not cutting ties with Arum and promoting himself and taking away any and all excuses folks say Floyd gave for not making their fight. Never is it about a persons race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, etc....

LOOK, I'm no racist. I have favorites over the years that were some of the greatest of all time. I loved Ali, I love Larry Holmes, Ray Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Pryor, Tyson, Holyfield, Hopkins... they all came to fight. They fought the best of the best, multiple times if needed, during their primes. I love that about ANY fighter, regardless of race. What I tire from is the brother that comes on to thread these racial put downs, signs up for these mouthy thugs like Stevens, like Broner, like Mayweather, and they thread their gross comments, and on and on. When their pony takes a beat down, then they pull that weasel, and come up with trashy excuses, and now Stevens is a journeyman, he was too short, too short of arm length... just say he showed up and took an azz kicking and get on to the next fight. TO sit and dig up the next brutha whos' to take out GGG, and not give Gennady any credit, isn't credible, and it's boxing uneducated. At least when a Mexican gets beaten down, they man up and call it that, unless your name is JMM. TRUE, I saw no way Canelo could lose his fight with Floyd. Canelo destroyed Trout, was young and a lot of momentum coming into the fight. Floyd chose to stay away from Guerrero, and the fight with Cotto, Floyd did not look good. Hence being adamant Canelo walks thru him. It didn't work out that way, but I have no problem owning that. I think Mayweather is another punk that wants to trash talk, act gangster, frequent strip clubs and rough up his children's mom, while they are fast a sleep in bed, waiting for daddy to come home. He's all about the $$$. At the end of the day he's a deadbeat. Vinnie Pazienza is a deadbeat and he's Italian. I'm not racist, but I do have a problem with guys that want to shoot their mouth off with nasty, mean-spirited comments, seeking to intimidate, and when it doesn't work out, the excuses just roll off their tongue. Nobody said those things until Gennady destroyed him. I saw and listened to the same crap from Zab Judah & Co, leading up to the Danny Garcia fight. All the trash talk Zab and his thug bodyguards thought was necessary, the intimidation tactics in department store appearances... just a joke. You guys analyze this like you have a clue.... GGG didn't stay out of anyone's "power zone"... how ****** is that comment. He met Stevens in the middle of the ring, went right after Stevens, busting his jab in on him, and ****ing bombs off Stevens' head, that dropped him. Floyd has admitted to hand picking his opponents his whole career, laughs about it going to the bank. He admitted as much. Floyd wants to talk about being the best, the greatest, he's "0".... but he never would hav had a chance with Ray Leonard, or Tommy Hearns, or never would have had the ballz to go fight Hagler. SO I said, Floyd isn't credible to me as a legend of the sport by manufacturing an undefeated record. Ray Leonard and Hearns went all the way to Light Heavyweight looking for challenges. Leonard came out of a 5 year retirement, NO tune up fight, to fight Marvin Hagler; nobody including FLOYD has the ballz to do that! Hearns and Hagler had the most epic 3 round brawl we've ever seen. Do't tell me how great Floyd is, when he made Cotto & Mosley wait for more than 10 years before he'd fight them, hoping they'd both had too many wars, and well past their prime, presenting little or no risk He never chose to fight Pacquiao in his prime, after Manny agreed to ALL his terms. Gennday will probably call Ward out himself! He has no problem fighting anyone. He's not picky. Nobody wanted to fight Stevens. Sergio Martinez even said, "Gennady needs to go deal with Stevens then we'll talk"... I guess it's time to talk. So I'm just pretty tired reading for months what a killer Stevens is, and now he's a journeyman, he exposed something in GGG, he's too short, and NOW Quillin is the man, then it'll be somebody else.

Stevens put up a great effort and lasted alot longer than people thought he would.
He landed some good left hooks that would put down most 'journey men'.
