I'm somewhat laughing at that statement but if somehow he were to score the victory, what happens to this division? To me it would be the biggest upset in quite sometime since most think GGG is the number 1 fighter in this division. Does Stevens become the man? How far does GGG fall in the eyes of the fans? What would be your feelings?

In the short term it would absolutely ruin GGG's credibility and make Stevens look like a beast. In the long term it's hard to say, if Stevens kept winning against good opposition then GGG's loss would look less bad.

It certainly would be something but I think most would be upset. I think it's safe to say that we all have adopted GGG as the next can't miss fighter in boxing.

yea, that's the thing about boxing; it will bring out the truth...if Stevens beats him fairly, then i guess that's what was meant to be...but, for the sake of the sport, with its major stars nearing their end, we need new blood that we can be excited about

From completely unknown to possibly the number 1 fighter at middleweight. It just feels like it would be one of the biggest upsets in a long time.
