I think GGG will win tough!
HBO would be heartbroken. Its been a long time since we have had a fighter that basically everyone embraces. Other than the possible fanboys that piss people off, I think most enjoy his ability, his power, and even his personality.

Eh, I like GGG but if he loses I wouldn't be entirely heartbroken or anything. He's being hailed as the next big thing, and I can surely see the potential, but he hasn't even proven himself to be the #1 guy at middleweight yet. Yeah, people are ducking him. That doesn't mean I should rank him too high because, at the end of the day, he still doesn't have enough quality names on his resume.

There is a fairly large bandwagon that has hopped from Pacquiao to Donaire to Golovkin and Matthyse. They've had really bad luck this past year and I would enjoy laughing at their tears of denial. Golovkin is the real deal though, I would be very surprised to see him lose this.

Isn't GGG like a 11-1 favorite going into this?

              WOW.

GGG should be the heavy favorite, but 15-1?

If Stevens wins, it really stops some superfights like against Ward, Floyd, and others. If would have to be that GGG was caught with a big punch. But that doesn't mean he was exposed. Anyone can go out with the right punch at the right time. But today's fans are quick to write off a fighter after a loss.

I can't imagine that's great for one's morale going into a fight, but hey, stranger things have happened in boxing. If Curtis truly believes he can win he should bet his f#kkin house at those odds.

What would be your feelings?
I will be the first to come in to eat crow

but Baldomir over Judah and Ishida over Kirkland were much bigger upsets.

If he does manage to win than maybe he has a renewed dedication and the drop to 160 certainly helped him.
