If Stevens wins....

Eh, I like GGG but if he loses I wouldn't be entirely heartbroken or anything. He's being hailed as the next big thing, and I can surely see the potential, but he hasn't even proven himself to be the #1 guy at middleweight yet. Yeah, people are ducking him. That doesn't mean I should rank him too high because, at the end of the day, he still doesn't have enough quality names on his resume.Comment

There is a fairly large bandwagon that has hopped from Pacquiao to Donaire to Golovkin and Matthyse. They've had really bad luck this past year and I would enjoy laughing at their tears of denial. Golovkin is the real deal though, I would be very surprised to see him lose this.Comment

If Stevens wins, it really stops some superfights like against Ward, Floyd, and others. If would have to be that GGG was caught with a big punch. But that doesn't mean he was exposed. Anyone can go out with the right punch at the right time. But today's fans are quick to write off a fighter after a loss.Comment

I will be the first to come in to eat crowI'm somewhat laughing at that statement but if somehow he were to score the victory, what happens to this division? To me it would be the biggest upset in quite sometime since most think GGG is the number 1 fighter in this division. Does Stevens become the man? How far does GGG fall in the eyes of the fans? What would be your feelings?
but Baldomir over Judah and Ishida over Kirkland were much bigger upsets.
If he does manage to win than maybe he has a renewed dedication and the drop to 160 certainly helped him.Comment
