  • Man, Pac looked like Nonito in the interview talking about being really hurt.

I loved you Pac, but it's time. He's hesitant. JMM ends again.

He held back, dude got knocked out cold in his last fight, can't blame him for trying to be more careful.

Don't take that **** seriously, he also said the Hatton fight was tough.

He didn't let his hands go at all. I'm confused. Pacquaio was moving, but he was also there to be hit many times. But Rios just wouldn't throw. Just kept hands up.

Rios did seem to have some effect at times, which just amazes me more why Rios wasn't throwing!

            • A year off. Longest in his career. Coming off a devastating Ko loss...Manny did the damn thing. With a game opponent.
No way in hell Floyd will beat Manny.

              • News flash: Rios didn't throw punches because if he did, he'd get caught over, and over, and over and be stopped.

He did exactly what Margarito & Clottey did, focused on keeping a high guard, not exchanging and not willing to take risks.

Rios is just slow and not especially good, this is the guy who was outboxed by Mike Alvarado. I think if he had opened up then Pacquiao would have stopped him, Rios has a good chin but his head was tucked into his chest most of the night behind gloves he was barely throwing. I guess he must have realized that if he exchanged then he'd be in trouble with Pacquiao's speed. Pitiful ending from Rios though, for a supposed warrior he didn't even try to go out on his shield in order to gamble on scoring the knockout.

                  • Pacquiao's post-fight interview was his hardest round in that fight.

I agree w/ your entire post. I don't know why he didn't throw. He seemed pretty flustered, but he also had some flashes of success, especially when they were tied up. I guess it's a lot harder to do in theory than when you're actually fighting.
