Every time Rios threw he got hit, that tends to stop you throwing in favour of defence. Plus that's what his coach was telling him to do.

I want Pac to retire. I want him to end his career with a dominant win regardless of the opponent.

I guess he must have realized that if he exchanged then he'd be in trouble with Pacquiao's speed. Pitiful ending from Rios though, for a supposed warrior he didn't even try to go out on his shield in order to gamble on scoring the knockout.
Yeah, he's a fighter that goes to 'war.' Especially if he knows he has to because he's losing. But he never tried that once at anytime. I don't think Pacquaio would have stopped Rios if he opened up more. He was toooo defensive.

I think Pacquaio would've won anyway, but to pitch a complete shutout because the other guy doesn't want to fire... ehhhhh.

Showcase fight for Manny. Showed he was in complete control. Bam Bam is very tough, just doesn't have the ring iq, defence, footwork, or head movement to trouble Manny. The only chance I gave Rios was Manny being completely shot after getting ko'd.

So much for the willing to die Rios. What a dissapointing performance and not because of his inferior skillset, he didn't even risk throwing wild swings or anything alike. He was like I'm getting $4 million, I just have to make it out of this alive.

Pac did his job like always and brought it. Rios turned into Clottey. I officially drop Rios from my team. His balls are not as big as he claims.

People don't understand that. Rios obviously felt Pac's power and that made him hesitant to walk through his punches. It's also ****** to compare this fight to the Alvarado II fight. Alvarado didn't shut out Rios. He threw punches back because he could handle Alvarado's punches. Not the same with this fight. He was facing a different animal.

It is easier to take the punches when your chin is lodged in your chest and behind gloves than when you are caught flush with your head slightly higher and by a punch you either don't see at all or only react to slightly. Rios would have been on the canvas if he had opened up and exchanged, Presumably that is why he didn't really attempt to open up.
