testing flipping the script with Ward only because they don't like Ward or any fighters that look like him.
I think Ward should take the test. I'm consistent on this issue and it doesn't change based on the fighter in question.Last edited by joseph5620; 10-30-2013, 03:21 PM.Comment

Again, nobody is forcing or demanding him to take the test, but why not take it when he's called out on them? It has simply come down to Ward voluntarily proving that he is clean, and he said no. (after advocating for the tests for many years).Last edited by Russian Crushin; 10-30-2013, 04:02 PM.Comment

And besides, Rodriguez needs to play his role. He's a tuneup demanding a million dollars and now trying to turn around and is now trying to play head games. If he was that serious about it he would have not agreed to fight. Like Floyd did in 2009 and like Bradley did this year.Comment

Because that's how it works. What your required to do is specified in your contract. At that point, the fights on. No more negotiating, no more talking, you move forward with what you agreed to.

You're still suck on pretending Edwin is demanding he take the tests, he isn't. He's not negotiating anything, the fight is happening whether he does testing or not. The question is why wont Ward take the test voluntarily. It not being in the contract makes no difference at all
Besides the fact that it must be in a contract to prove that you're clean is ridiculous on its own. Its not in the contract for Edwin to take the test, yet he's taking it.Comment

Why should Ward have to do anything special for E-rod? he is after all a relatively unknown challenger. Ward is right its a stunt and has nothing to do with the business aspect of the fight as it was not in the contract.Comment

The opportunity came up to show that he's clean, a free one at that. Why not prove that he's clean. Nothing bad can arise from it (other than getting caught), and he would look good taking it, showing that he's clean.

And he does want to prove he's clean. That's why he said he will start beginning in his next fight.Comment
