Rosado should definitely get it. That was really unfortunate, and with the scorecards the way they were he was going to get screwed anyway.

Canelo Alvarez had nearly forty fights before he finally challanged anyone nearly legit (depending on your definition of "legit"); by then, he was pretty big. I believe you have to eventually match your guy with a top name for him to really blow up, but it isn't absolutely necessary as long as the record is long and undefeated. It seems clear to me GBP is nurturing Quillin's career. Too bad Pete's not a top-level talent. He has the qualities to be a star.

(By the way, Boxingscene is reporting Jacobs might be next.)

Petey is a local star...thats all Haymon is willing to do with him. Petey waited a long time to get here and its garbage. His style is pleasing and he's a good dude. Who cares if he loses? He's the type of fighter that people like to watch.

That maybe so but I don't think a rematch is that crazy considering it was about a 50/50 fight going into the final round. Due to those horrendous scorecards alone, they should offer Rosado a rematch for that god awful judging. I mean the kid could of knocked Quillin down 3 times in the final 3 rounds, won all 3 rounds, and still lost the fight. That simply isn't fair or possible. he was set up for failure, I'm not even going deeper into it saying "oh it was Haymon" etc..... All I know is those judges there, watching that fight, did not give Rosado a fair chance to win that fight.

Scorecards dont matter. Fight stopped on cut and winner given TKO.

You clearly dont understand people's point about the scorecards. technically they dont factor into the result but everyone else is smart enough to know that.

I do understand and they should be investigated but everyone just trying to use thst like rosado got robbed when he didnt. Cut was bad and i know everyone here are warriors and looked at it like it was a small thing but it wasnt. Protect the fighter from himself and thats what the dr did. Legit stop so technically rosado lost via TKO. He should get rematch but in no way was he robbed

They don't matter when the fight gets stopped like that but IMO it was premature stoppage for a championship fight and the eye didn't seem to get any worse between the time when they first looked at it and when they stopped the fight, the lopsided scorecards just make everything look like something funny was going on to assure a Quillin victory if things got tough. I just get the sense they were scared of Gabe ko'ing Quillin and stopped it cause Gabe made it a lot tougher than expected
