GBP wants to develop a star in Quillin, so they might squash a rematch. They know Rosado might succeed the second time around, but he's not star material himself. Too bad, 'cause these guys match up well, and Gabe deserves another shot. "Chocolate"-Rosado II could be terrific. Gabe knows he must go for broke -- what with the ridiculous scoring -- and Pete now knows Rosado can kill his lofty career aspirations. I hope we see a sequel.

lmao everyone mad Rosado got whooped. He really did nothing the whole fight, nothing showing he was going to win.
How do people think the guy who was dropped, stunned multiple times and missing an eyelid is the one going to win the next rounds? That is the ******est ****ing thing lmao

Oh the irony. The scary thing is you're not even trolling, you're a severely delusional loser filled with hate. Sorry

the only downfall is rosado cuts to easy. he's tough as nails but that will be his downfall against anyone with fast or powerful hands. i think they will go with the rematch to avoid some of the other more dangerous punchers at 60, kinda like chavez jr situation they know he's not ready for the dangerous fighters at 68 so they buy time with the rematch

Showtime might have to choose the rematch with Rosado since they have few opponents to pick from. There's little risk - just get more of the same judges and if Quillin makes it to the end, he wins.

According to Rosado, he "never" cuts. That was part of his rationale for accusing GGG of using altered Grant gloves with light padding. I wonder if he has the same thing to say about Everlast now that Quillin opened up a gash over his eye with a stiff jab.

I hope you're right. I hope the rematch happens. There seemed to be some real bitterness developing before the first meeting. These two will really be going for the jugular in part II.

i forgot he did say he never cuts but in he's defense ggg and quillin are big punchers. its something about quillin thats off a lil to me dont know if its the stiffness or the lack of activity he looks like he fights scared sometimes. he has power and i think he will beat rosado again in the rematch i dont think rosado can do anything diffirent or better in the rematch. what do you think about a quillin murray fight

It was a close fight, I had Quillin up 86-84 before they stopped the fight. A rematch would be good.

No doubt, both GGG and the Kid are heavy-handed. Quillin does look stiff when he fights. He's also kind of slappy for a big puncher. I agree Pete will win a rematch, because, after all, he's simply the better fighter (in my opinion). I haven't seen enough of Murray to make comparisons; but, many people, including myself, are wondering how good Quillin really is after the Rosado fight. I used to regard Pete as possibly #3, after Sergio and Golovkin. There's a bigger question mark about that now.
