I just get the sense they were scared of Gabe ko'ing Quillin and stopped it cause Gabe made it a lot tougher than expected
Gotta admit I felt like a little like this.

I agree the cut was bad but it just seemed funny that they let it go and then stopped it a little into the 10th round, it hadn't started bleeding more and I don't even think he had gotten hit in the eye that round yet.

Maybe didn't need to. No blood allowed ref to see how deep and big it truly was. Dr stopped fight and good stoppage IMO. Close fight and ****** to end that way. Rosado should get rematch

he had 9 rounds to do it, he hurt him in one of those rounds and still managed to get his eyelid open by a jab, what make you think he could do it in the last three rounds with a hole on his eye? He got caught again right on the cut on the first few seconds of the 10 round, that's why the stop the fight and call the doc,the fight was closer than those ridiculous score cards, but in no way rosado was beating up Quillin as bad as ppl are claiming, as of matter of fact Quillin gain momentum after he cut rosados eye and went after him at the start of the 10th round, he won the fight fair and square with a legit punch, and more important he should learn from that,he doesn't have the benefit of a good amateur career or even a bad one for that matter.

Take a look at the round again, he got hit on the eye.
