As I stated on the other thread.

A guy knocks his opponent out in four round and gets trashed.

There are some real HATERS on here.

There are far less able fighters here that people love to suck off.

Let kell brook have a little credit for a job well done over an opponent that most thought was a credible challenge before the fight.

I don't know how long you have been watching boxing but there have been a lot of chinny fighters who had never been down before because there record was padded. All you know is that he has never been down before, but he never fought anyone notable, you don't know if he was ever hurt or stunned either. When he fought Paulie he was stopped on cuts and he KO'ed a shot Hatton, nothing in either of those fights suggest he has a decent chin. There is nothing to suggest that stopping this guy was impressive or some kind of accomplishment.

Kell can shake up the champs in this division (Floyd excluded)

First man to stop Jackeiwicz, schooled NDou, beats Hatton and Saldivia easy. Jones, well. Yes he got tagged. I mentioned on the other thread that he was hurt plus he didnt prepare properly and that fight taught him more than most. Rematch. Beats him easy.

His opposition has been so much better since his move to EH and Matchroom. Was going nowhere with Fwank and injuries also held him back

Kell is class and I can see him beating Alexander or Porter.

Kell Brook appears to be exceptional for 3 rounds. Thereafter it sometimes goes a little pear-shaped.

Got the job done though, hopefully they finally make the Alexander fight. He needs a KO though, Haymon judges in that one.

No I never said anything about him impressing me, you just pulled that one out of your ass. Just because I think someone is superior to Kell Brook it doesn't mean I think they are impressive.

Senchenko caught Brook with a looping shot on the top of his head that slightly hurt him momentarily. Haye was caught by the same punch early in his career by Mock and almost stopped, yet he took several flush right hands from Wladimir and wasn't hurt once. I'm not saying Brook has a good chin, but being momentarily wobbled by a guy with decent power isn't a sign that he has bad one. I'd say that Senchenko has more power than Bradley or Alexander so Brook has nothing to fear in that regard. He isn't Amir Khan.

Just curious.. When has Alexander impressed you?

When he fights B class competition. Something that Kell Brook certainly doesn't do. This kid is no where near a top level fighter.

He is a far better fighter than Brook, he at least has some ring IQ, and you did put words in my mouth, you said I said someone was impressive when I said no such thing. I think don't think Alexander is impressive I think he is solid, something I would never describe Brook as.

Yes you did. You said you hadn't been impressed by Kell Brook - either previously or today - to that you related Devon Alexander and said (on the basis of that) he should win without much trouble.

Now for someone to state they weren't impressed with one man, and then go on to relate another man's skills in the ring and find them superior - I take that as saying you have been impressed by Alexander at some stage.

Now to that I ask, when has the man impressed you to the extent that he should deal with Kell Brook 'without much trouble'?

Because, when has Alexander dealt with anyone decent without much trouble?

Who beat Maidana with no trouble.

He beat Urango impressively.

Both are leagues better than anyone Brook has faced.

Stopping 24 out of 34 is weak punching now? Come on. and jones can crack hard, he had a 7 or so straight KO run coming into the Brook fight, including wins over LMWs.

Brook has a decent chin. If you take a decent shot, it shakes you up. If you're able to quickly recover - you know you can take a good shot.

Level of opposition has to mean something doesn't it?

Senchenko and Jones were literally feasting on bums.

Senchenko especially has never shown any signs of being a hard puncher.
