Now for someone to state they weren't impressed with one man, and then go on to relate another man's skills in the ring and find them superior - I take that as saying you have been impressed by Alexander at some stage.

Not being down doesn't mean you have a respectable set of whiskers, and there is nothing to suggest he had good punch resistance, his competition has been awful.

I don't know how long you have been watching boxing but there have been a lot of chinny fighters who had never been down before because there record was padded. All you know is that he has never been down before, but he never fought anyone notable, you don't know if he was ever hurt or stunned either. When he fought Paulie he was stopped on cuts and he KO'ed a shot Hatton, nothing in either of those fights suggest he has a decent chin. There is nothing to suggest that stopping this guy was impressive or some kind of accomplishment.

So what is he then?

I don't know how long you have been watching boxing but there have been a lot of chinny fighters who had never been down before because there record was padded. All you know is that he has never been down before, but he never fought anyone notable, you don't know if he was ever hurt or stunned either. When he fought Paulie he was stopped on cuts and he KO'ed a shot Hatton, nothing in either of those fights suggest he has a decent chin. There is nothing to suggest that stopping this guy was impressive or some kind of accomplishment.

Of course there are a lot of chinny fighters that are protected, but you can't say that based on 1 fight, a guy is "glass chinned" when he had never been down before. That was my whole issue with the post I referred to.

Not an impressive or jaw dropping performance, but it is what he should do to fighters on the level of Senchenko.

Not sure that really matters. When was the last time Paulie busted up someone's face? I've followed Paulie for some time, I've never seen it honestly.
