Angel will change his tune when the numbers are laid on the table in front of him. Then he'll be given a spill about how even if Danny loses, he will have simply lost to the best fighter in the world and will still be the jr welterweight champ. If Floyd wants Danny next. Danny will be next.

Angel knows exactly what he's doing. Unlike most parasites who front as trainers and managers who only Are about the big payday Angel wants that but actually has his sons best interest at heart and that's a rare thing in life . It's funny that most people on this site write off Angel as a ****** crackhead but in reality he's done a perfect job in getting Danny to this level.

Let Danny get more experience get his name bigger let the possibility of Floyds age get to him. This fight is most likely happening if Danny keeps winning probably in Sept 2014 or May 2015.

I'm sure Angel has envisioned his on road to becoming a champion as well, and is making sure his son gets through boxing the right way.. if Garcia remains the underdog throughout his career all these people are gonna be calling him the best of his era.

He's just posturing. They'll fight before Floyd's contract is over.

Right. I mean, fighting "Chicanito" Hernandez in your 18th pro fight is the very definition of baby steps.

He should fight Abregu a guy that has an excellent record but his skills are inferior compared to Garcia's skills. I mean that's a solid opponent to make his welterweight debut.

                      I dunno'

I think it's dumb not to take the money when it's presented to you. Everyone wants to fight the best. If you got what it takes, go for it. Obviously, he thinks his son is not ready, that's cool. I believe Danny's not ready for a loss to Floyd either. As good as Danny is, Floyd will just outbox him like he did everyone.
